Toyota’s most popular midsize SUV in the Philippines is without a doubt the Toyota Fortuner. This is the tenth year the vehicle has been in production in the country. Since its inception, it has experienced a few upgrades and adjustments, but retains the overall appearance its famous for. Based around the design of the Hilux, the Fortuner is much larger than its truck counterpart – it seats seven people comfortably.
The exterior of the vehicle has been redesigned to be aggressive and classy at the same time. The grille has been redesigned with chrome finishing and now has much narrower headlamps and taillights. The interior design is also luxurious – it consists of black, brown, and wood trims. In terms of entertainment, you’re gifted a state-of-the-art touchscreen entertainment system that includes navigations and a DVD player. There are a few engine options, 2.4L diesel, 2.7L dual VVT-i and 2.8 V Diesel. There are 4x2 and 4x4 option as well. The latest version of the vehicle is available in the following colors: Super White, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Gray Metallic, Phantom Brown Metallic, and Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic.
